I liked this day. :) It included a school field trip to next step-fair, great company, laughing, candy, bags full of free stuff (lip balm, playing cards, pens, condoms etc.) and getting lost in a new city. Of course there's always one asshole trying to ruin everything and this trip was no exception but it didn't really matter, I was happy anyway. 

I hear the drums echoing tonight
But she hears only whispers of some quiet conversation

Her moonlit wings reflect the stars that guide me towards salvation
I stopped an old man along the way
Hoping to find some old forgotten words or ancient melodies
